Adygea universities will start training in both full-time and distance format from September 1

The two main higher educational institutions of Adygea (Adygea state University and Maikop state technological University) will start the new academic year in a mixed format, providing both full-time and distance learning, SA reported in the press services of universities.
At ASU, students of the 3rd, 4th and 5th years will study remotely from September 1 to 20 (until September 20, the management will decide on the further training mode), and students of the 1st and 2nd years of bachelor's and master's degrees - in full-time mode.
- The requirement to ensure social distance when Seating students increases the load on the University's classroom Fund. Therefore, it was decided to conduct classes in full-time mode for students of 1-2 courses. Students of 3-5 courses have experience in both full-time and distance learning, so they are temporarily transferred to the remote mode,-the press service of the University explained.
At the same time, teachers older than 65 years and/or with chronic diseases have the right to conduct classes in a remote format. If these teachers teach classes for students of 1-2 courses, the lesson automatically becomes remote for these students. For the convenience of students and teachers, it is planned to group such distance classes on certain days.
In-line lectures with a contingent of more than 50 people are transferred to small groups for the organization of lectures in full-time format (if available). If it is not possible, they are converted to an online format (with video lectures placed in the EIOS
University). Each full-time student will be provided with two reusable masks on the first day of school. The University's teaching staff will also be provided with masks.

At MSTU, the academic year will start on September 1 in full-time format for students who are studying under the bachelor's, specialist's and residency programs, with the exception of several groups of students.

So for students of 4-6 courses of specialties "Medicine", "Pediatrics", "Dentistry" in September, only lectures will be held (remotely). Undergraduates will start their studies on October 1. Students who study full-time and part-time will continue their distance learning on the electronic educational platform of the University. In addition, students working in the" red zone " of medical organizations will be engaged in an individual training program.

Distance learning will be organized for students from other countries who cannot enter the territory of the Russian Federation. Foreign students arriving in Russia must observe a 14-day self-isolation regime and pass a test for the presence of a coronavirus infection.
- Students and teachers will have to observe the mask mode. The University will provide personal protective equipment. Each study group will have an assigned audience. Students with chronic diseases will be able to switch to individual curricula, - MSTU reported.
Both universities intend to organize body temperature measurement of students and teachers at the entrance to the University. ASU, for example, will open all available entrances to buildings for this purpose. In order to speed up the thermometry process and avoid crowding people, several employees will measure the temperature simultaneously. People with signs of the disease (fever, cough, runny nose) will not be admitted to the University.
